My rate for individual sessions is $110 plus any applicable taxes.

The services of private practice Registered Psychotherapists are not covered by O.H.I.P.

More and more extended health benefit plans are offering reimbursement for Registered Psychotherapy services.

It is recommended that you inquire to see if you have coverage before your consultation meeting with me.

Here are some questions you can ask your provider to get the information you need.

  • What are my mental health benefits?

  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

  • How many therapy sessions does my plan cover?

  • How much does my insurance pay for an out-of-network provider?

  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?

Should you have benefit coverage payment is required direct to me as per my policy below and at your request I can provide a receipt for this.

Accepted methods of payment are cash, or by email money transfer using the email lifereflective@icloud.com

Payment by e-transfer is due before the start of each session.

Payment in cash is due at the end of each session.

Please also note a 24 hour cancellation policy is in effect; the full fee will be charged without 24 hours notice of a cancellation or rescheduling.

People I work with are offered regular spots based on their individual needs, for example time of day and frequency of sessions. In order to maintain this spot for you and plan my schedule to be available for all patients, we will typically maintain a regular schedule of sessions.

Should you need to miss a regularly scheduled session time/date and provide me with 24 hours notice the cancellation fee will not be charged.

At your request, when a session is cancelled under 24 hours notice I can provide you with a receipt for the payment. This receipt will indicate that the payment was a cancellation fee that was paid.

I maintain a certain number of patients on a sliding scale, which means that, when available, I can offer a reduced fee based on individual financial circumstances and availability.

Currently (2019): Sliding scale and reduced fee openings are not available.

Privacy Policies

People's privacy in the therapy experience is a cornerstone of the process.  It is essential that people have a space to be able to say what can seem unspeakable and ensure that this is kept in confidence with the therapist along with their identity.

When we work together confidentiality is guaranteed, with only three exceptions:

  1. If I believe that disclosure is essential to prevent physical injury to you or others.

  2. If I believe that a minor is in need of protection from abuse or neglect.

  3. If my records are subpoenaed by court order.

Registered Psychotherapists work with their colleagues to promote our professional development and the success of patients in therapy.  As a part of this process we consult with each other.  When I seek clinical consultation, I am careful to disguise all aspects of my patient’s identities to maintain the professional standard of confidentiality.

Typically, I will return a message within 24 hours, with some exceptions. For example, weekends and holidays which may take longer.

The primary ways contact me are by voice mail, email or if time sensitive (for example you are running late for an appointment) text message.

The security of any email or text message cannot be guaranteed. Please do not use email or text messages to discuss sensitive information or in an emergency.

On occasion, while following the standards set out by the CRPO Electronic Practice guide, I may offer e-therapy. This service is offered when we have an established therapist-client relationship and is not intended to be the main source for therapy contact.
